General questions

The most frequent questions.

How do I buy a gift card with crypto?

Pick the brand, amount and country, pay in crypto (BTC, USDT, ETH...) through OxaPay, then receive your gift card code by email in under 60 seconds for virtual cards, or 3 to 7 business days at the address you provided for physical cards.

Which cryptocurrencies are accepted?

We accept Bitcoin (BTC), USDT (TRC-20 and ERC-20), USDC, Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), TRON (TRX), Litecoin (LTC), BNB, TON, Dogecoin and several others through OxaPay. The full list and the network fees are shown at checkout.

Do I need an account or KYC verification?

For small purchases, no identity check is required. Above regulatory thresholds (typically from €1,000 per transaction or monthly cumulative), a simple identity check is required to comply with anti-money laundering rules.

What happens if the crypto price moves during payment?

The crypto amount is locked for 15 minutes after the payment is created. As long as you pay within that window, the price is guaranteed even if the market moves.

What is the difference between virtual and physical cards?

A virtual card is a code sent by email, delivered in less than a minute, perfect for online shopping or gifting at distance. A physical card is printed and shipped to an address you choose, ideal for in-person gifting.

Do gift cards expire?

Validity depends on the brand and country. In Europe, most gift cards are valid for at least 2 years, some up to 10. The exact expiry date is shown on each brand's page before purchase.

Can I refund or resell a purchased gift card?

Gift cards are non-refundable once the code is revealed, per the issuer's terms. You can however give the card to someone else as long as the code has not been used.

Are my personal data protected?

We only collect the minimum needed (email for delivery, address for physical cards). No banking data, since payment is in crypto. We comply with GDPR and use no advertising trackers.
