How to spend your USDT (Tether) on gift cards

USDT (Tether) is a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar. Its value barely fluctuates, eliminating volatility between the order and the payment. No bad surprises.

On the TRON network (TRC-20), USDT transfer fees are near-zero (less than one cent) and confirmation takes 3 seconds. Unbeatable compared to a SEPA bank transfer or an on-chain Bitcoin.

USDT exists on several networks. For gift cards, here is the practicality ranking: TRC-20 (TRON): best balance, fees < €0.01, 3s. Solana: even faster, ~1s. ERC-20 (Ethereum): avoid for small amounts, fees €1-5.

If your USDT is on an exchange (Binance, Kraken, OKX), select 'withdraw via TRON network'. The network you choose must match the address we provide.

1. Pick the card (brand, amount, country) on our catalog.

2. On the payment screen, pick USDT and the network (TRC-20 recommended). A TRON address starting with 'T' appears.

3. From your wallet or exchange, send the exact amount to that address, on the TRON network. Sending via ERC-20 when TRC-20 was expected will lose your funds.

4. Confirmation typically takes 3-10 seconds. The card code arrives by email immediately after.

The TRON network uses TRX to pay fees. Most TRC-20 USDT transfers consume 1 to 5 TRX (less than €0.50 in 2026). Make sure your wallet has a bit of TRX; otherwise buy €1 worth in advance.

Tip: most exchanges bundle TRX fees in the withdrawal cost, so you don't have to think about it.
